Design
Design is such a subjective discipline. I believe that the measure of great design is finding a solution that serves the brand as well as the customer. Finding this balance is really the skill that I deliver. A design solution is not aboutĀ “snake oil” smoke and mirrors, but rather hands-on teamwork between the designer and client.
I direct the creative process and formulate the marketing, conceptual, and visual solution. The process differs little across the variety of media. The result should always have the same effect: To create a connection with the target audience and keep your brand top of mind.

Consulting & Training
Whether the task is to develop the marketing strategy, work-shop the brand approach, or define, design and roll-out the deliverables – having an objective, creative resource on hand adds enormous value to any marketing team.
In this role I can offer guidance and hands-on participation in creating balance between the business, marketing and brand strategies.
Using my range of skills in conceptual development, content structuring, design and delivering the elements, I am confident that we can find a solution and deliver it successfully.
In line with the trend of employing in-house design teams, I have also used training sessions to build the team’s understanding of their roles in adding value to the brand, as well as defined and implemented systems to keep that work focused and on strategy.

At a certain stage of “design maturity” every good creative professional should know when they need to delegate or utilize a specialist in a specific role.
This has always been my attitude to running projects where generally there are a number of team members and suppliers involved.
I like to use a simple and time tested project planning system which outlines the deliverables and milestones, informingĀ all involved which expectations need to be met for the project to be successful.
Over the years I have developed a reliable and trusted network of suppliers from specialist printers, to programmers and videographers that can deliver the quality of work I demand, and that my clients have come to expect.

Media Sales
Swift manages specialist media sales and marketing. In terms of print advertising we are currently contracted to AutoForum and BodyShop News International to sell advertising space in these titles.
Swift is an approved reseller for Motion Icon South Africa.
We market this medium which is based on a patented branding system for escalators. Managing the non-GLA assets for landlords in shopping malls and office space environments, we market this previously untapped revenue stream. We facilitate access to these assets for media agents, advertising agencies and direct to clients looking for a new and exciting out of home media.
